Fortuna Junior Academy is operated by the Fortuna Seventh-day Adventist Church and governed by a highly-qualified and prayerfully-selected board and staff. Our teachers are certified by the State of California and undergo a rigorous Scripture-based course of study to prepare them for their important role. We are supported by the Northern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Department of Education in the form of superintendents, curriculum guidelines, periodic evaluations, and financial assistance to keep our costs low.
